Regnkatt is a small, family-run cattery located in Western Washington. This area is known for its rainy weather, hence the name Regnkatt, which is Norwegian for "rain cat". We have long appreciated our Scandinavian heritage, so when we were looking for a pedigreed cat to add to our cat family, a Norwegian Forest Cat seemed like a natural choice. Once we got our first, we found we just had to have more!

Our cats are treasured members of our family. The stud has his own room where the neuters and the kittens visit him frequently. All of the other cats have the run of the house. Norwegian Forest Cats love to be up high, so we built floor to ceiling towers for their climbing and lounging pleasure. When the weather is nice, the cats enjoy the view of the lake in a large outside enclosure.

We have kittens available two or three times a year. Kitten enquiries are always welcome, but be prepared to tell us about yourself and your family. Forest cats are intelligent and very adaptable, but they have personalities just like people do – some are very outgoing and others prefer a quieter environment. We want to try to make sure a kitten is suited to your home and lifestyle. Our top priority is to ensure that all of our kittens are well cared for and loved in their new homes. Kittens are sold with a contract stating that they will be spayed/neutered, will not be declawed and will not be allowed outside unless closely supervised (leash or enclosure). Please contact us for additional information.
